Unfortunately its been the culture here for quite a while. Although it does seem that it hasn’t been as bad the past 2 years. No matter the team 1st round draft graded players leave. What hurts is all the years of high draft picks and no championship to show for it.

I seldom question the decisions of players, but in this instance I have to. To answer your question, no. It’s literally one more game and then you’re onto other things. I understand there’s a chance of injury but there’s a chance of injury in every game.

Go on to the pros where there’s a better likelihood of injury, serious or not.

Play one last game with your teammates. JMO

apparently. Coach O straight up encouraged that shite with his coddling of Arden Key this year. Should have cut him after his suspect off season but instead treated him like he's still a superstar team player. He played weak all year.

Who are to talking about, specifically?

Fournette had a severely jacked up ankle last year.

Key missed the last two games with a messed up knee and then had surgery on a finger after the A&M game. It was always going to be touch and go whether he could play.

Guice had been practicing until he apparently got knicked up this week. Orgeron said he should be back at practice next week.

When you build your culture and recruiting platform around “3 and done”, what do you expect the players to follow?

No its not ok. LSU gave them a free education and a opportunity to reach the NFL. Buy a insurance policy but do what you've been given thousands of $$$ to do. Players in the past have played all their games and enjoyed it. After all, these players should set a better example for the up and comers. Jmo

Bama signs way better players than LSU and their culture is pretty much 3 and done also.

Why should a guy stay 4 years if he's going in the first 3 rounds?

If I wave several million dollars in the face of any kid on any campus, they are going to leave school. Anyone who says they wouldn’t is lying.

Its not just Lsu. Therefore its level playing ground as long as other team has draftable talent. Dont like it but its not gonna change. If anything it will get worse. Too much money involed all around

The guy really didn't want to play at all this year. I was good while it lasted. Hope he has a longer NFL career.

We’re obviously not paying them enough to incentivize them to stay.

Don't want to hear that it is ok since it is meaningless and not playoffs. The kid is getting zero dollars from playoffs as well, and you dumbasses are saying that getting zero dollars and getting a career ending injury is worth losing all those millions because it was for a TEAM championship? I guess you could sell the ring. It is bs though. You are either a team player with heart and character, or you are a selfish all about yourself player. This is the game, those players risked losing their careers every time they step on the field from day 1. I have great respect for a kid that gives his all, it speaks of character and heart. What was the guy, Tillman from the Cardinals? Gave his life. Now these clowns protest our flag. Before it is over, low character guys giving other low character guys advice, will be the downfall of the NFL and college football, unless something is done.
