Never want to hear the freshman qb excuse again.

Just because we have a kid like Brennan or Narcisse (I know he redshirted.) But we cant act like just because these kids are young they can’t be ready to play.

Fromm was 6’2” 230. Brennan is about 6’2 180. Brennan would have gotten seriously injured

That’s someone’s job to get him up to weight. He was an early enrolee if i remember right. They had a lot of time to put major weight on him. I say get Jesse Stone from Georgia or a very highly touted qb coach to come solve our problem. Enough with relying on the OC. Get a dependable QB coach.

Because it happens occasionally, means that all the freshman we recruit should be able to do the same thing.... lol

They are surrounded by great players too. Huge difference, and unless you can just recruit anyone you want yearly, it takes time.
It's not an excuse, the kids either didn't have the same talent, or don't have the same Offense around them. A freshman can come in and make plays but he will also make mistakes like this guy is.
Fromm has matured big over the year but is also surrounded by great players. Surround our QBs with great players and you will see a turn around at that position.
You morons keep harping on LSU and this staff, while they're trying to get the players in here to make that difference.
We'll see what happens with the OC situation but people overreact far too easliy around here. It's insane. Give these coaches a chance to turn this around and they probably will.

Brennan is not a prototypical SEC QB— he will get broken-in-two in this conference.
