Welcome back, your dreams were your ticket out
Welcome back, to that same old place that you laughed about
Well the names have all changed since you hung around
But those dreams have remained and they've turned around
Who'd have thought they'd lead ya
(Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Back here where we need ya
(Back here where we need ya)
Yeah we tease him a lot 'cause we got him on the spot
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back, welcome back
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back

I’m assuming the option to opt in is contingent on taking enough classes for academic eligibility?
If a player opted out, and was back home for the semester and not taking any classes just for this semester, he couldn’t just opt back in a month after classes started?

He hasn’t practiced at all with the team this fall. Hard to imagine he shows up in game shape after being in Mobile. Not to mention is he even taking classes at LSU?
Would be great to have him but it’s pretty clear he is planning to return in 2021 not this year.

Could be taking classes online, as many others are.

Would be huge if he comes back

I think he plans on playing next year under the opt out rules.

So is he still enrolled in school?

This year has no impact on eligibility in future years
Big question is his academic standing

He will be back. He sees his opportunity is right now with Shelvin opting out and the other transfers. He and Logan would split starting snaps.

Glass case of emotion after that tweet

Yep. Glad you stayed completely quarantined to help out.
