Especially Matt Moscona. He is the worst when it comes to Coach O being hired. I also wasn't happy with the hire but I am still going to hope for the best and cheer.

It does not really matter. You guys all wanted Fisher or Herman. They did not come and were not coming. Fisher btw was 5 and 6 at FSU last season. Herman lost 5 games also. None of the top, coaches in the power 5 conferences are leaving their current jobs to come here. Our choice was a power 5 up and comer from a second division team or a non power 5 coach or a coordinator. Orgeron was a great fit for our program that was in decline and complete disarray at the time.

I am old enough to remember that we were going to fire Charlie Mac and get Joe Paterno or Bobby Bowden or Bo Schembeckler. It never changes.

Really?? That’s the deciding game? You do know that the great Nicky saban, and the all time winning coach at LSU, les miles, records were not great at Auburn.

How did that end for Les Miles? I don't understand why people keep bringing up what Miles did to defend Orgeron. LSU fans should want better than what was done to get the previous coach fired.

Last time I checked LSU still dominated those ole piss teams, zero sec championship and zero NC’s

We barely beat Ole Miss is 2003. Had Manning not tripped over his O lineman on that last offensive play, Saban may not have won a title here.

Do you really think this is a good refelection of O? If we got rid of Les for it, why are you satisfied with O doing the same?

Despite what a bunch of you idiots think, we all HOPE O is successful. None of us want to see LSU lose.

There are actually a handful of people that have said they hope he loses. I don't think they will be mad when he wins though. I just can't fathom an LSU fan being upset if the team wins.

See that’s the problem with the O sunshine pumpers.

Personally I think the LSU program is better than having to hire our own d line coach to replace our winningest coach in history and better than having to hire our tight ends coach to replace our highly regarded OC. I guess you don’t.

I gave o the benefit of the doubt after salvaging the season after Troy but he squandered that with endminger

You answered your own question.

It’s one thing to not succeed at ole miss (you spelled it “piss” , how adorable). It’s another thing entirely to win 10 games in 3 years.

I’d rather go 3-10 than 7-5 and playing in the Alamo bowl

I don't think that's an unreasonable line of thinking because you're considering the long term success of the program. It's the same thought process basically as preferring the Saints go 0-16 than 8-8 over and over.

My question to you is would you be pissed off if LSU won 10 games this year?

Herman took over a Texas program that’s coach got fired for losing to KANSAS. fricking Kansas. Texas hasn’t sniffed a 10 win season in nearly a decade. THATS a rebuild.

O got a team with 50 4 and 5* and lost to a sun belt team.

This is what makes absolutely no sense and its nothing short of just mind blowing.

Les Miles started his LSU coaching career winning 11 games (10 reg season) in his first 2 seasons here. This was the first time LSU ever finished with back-to-back 10 win seasons. During his first 2 seasons LSU played 12 nationally ranked Top 15 teams and 6 of those were ranked in the Top 8 when the games were played. Miles finished his 3rd season at LSU winning 12 games with a 34-6 record and a BCS NC win against Ohio State.

Still, Miles was constantly bashed and negativity surrounded him even during his red hot start at LSU. He talked, walked, ran, ate, blinked, clapped and wore his hat funny. He won games with luck, talent alone, ugly and by not enough points. The media, analysts and even our own fans were tough on Miles while he was winning at a high level.

For years it didn't upset most people here when Miles received constant personal negative criticism even while he played for championships.

Orgeron's abysmal 3 years in Oxford and his uninspiring start here at LSU has rational fans skeptical that he'll be successful. Yet, there's many here who still defend him and get upset when he's rightfully criticized. The excuses made for his shortcomings as head coach is astounding
