I love how one of the major complaints about people who are critical of O is that they won't relent if O wins (and will continue to be negative), or want LSU to lose so they can "be right."
Yet, we all know that if O succeeds expectations there are dozens of posters who will make "we were right," their job for some time. Quite hypocritical. None of them would be silent if O does actually succeed.

It was 0-0 in the last quarter of the game.
I’m all out of sorts to understanding which part of that fact you can’t grasp.
I suppose we have different interpretations of the word close ballgame.

quote:yes a game that we had a chance to win would be a close game. LSU was never going to score in the 10-0 game. It was an embarrassment
suppose we have different interpretations of the word close ballgame.

I see you never responded to the question I asked of you when you claimed last season's loss to Bama was a close game as well. You must have missed it so I'll post it again for you.

A 14 point loss, never being closer than 11 after the 1st quarter, was a close game to you?

Considering the missed opportunities LSU had in that game and the final stats absolutely it was close game.
Prob not as close as year before but much of that speculation could have been tempered with ???
A little execution.
Making plays when they are there to be made.
We had opportunities and didn’t capitalize.

Yea. The issue is yours changes constantly to be able to include the mediocre at best results Orgeron consistently produces.

So, a game that LSU spent the final 3 quarters down more than 2 scores was a close game to you. Fair enough. Everyone's opinion on this will be different.
Now that we've got that established you've really got no leg to stand on when belittling other people's threshold for what is/isn't a close game.

Wrong bitch.
A 0-0 ballgame in the 4th is a close game if it’s 7-7 flag football game.
Try harder next time.

In LSUs last 7 losses to Alabama they’ve all been close except:
2011 NCG
2013
2015
All were les miles. Not O.
So I suppose if you have such a hard on for labeling games vs Alabama as not “close” let’s acknowldge the ones that truly fit that mold.

I'm really struggling to see how last year's Bama game was "close". Maybe you've explained it already in this thread, but could you give me a brief synopsis of your reasoning?
Posted on 8/30/18 at 2:28 pm to Mo Jeaux
Bc it’s untrue to say it wasn’t a close football game.
I’d bet every dollar I have if it were les miles instead an O coached LSU Alabama game you idiots would totally agree it was a close ballgame.
It’s cool, it’s obvious to everyone why you would take that approach.

If you're going to make dumb claims at least be consistent with them.
If 2017's 14 point loss with Bama kneeling inside LSU's 10 was close, this game that was also a 2 score game until 5 min left should be considered a close game.
I'm using your own criteria here, by the way.

The view on LSU nationally is not good.
I get the Washington post free. Whatever politically, but the Sports section does a preview of all the big games.
Write up on LSU is all about Miami. LSU was mentioned. As the opponent. That was it.
Point being, the negativity isn't just some homegrown crap on this board.
When the media stops covering and talking about LSU??? Wow. Not good. Jmo.
