i just have a very low tolerance for people who run their mouth over things that they dont have a clue about. it makes me wanna puke to listen to them and in turn makes me mad which also in turn leads to telling them to stfu. better ?

Well, I'm just repeating CM...that's how he describes this team and he should/does know...I guess...

the fact is we do have issues on this team. We were very sloppy and won that game with special teams and the ground game. If you don't see that our qb's struggled then you are the blind one. The pass yes were all yac and they have given me no reason to be confident throwing the ball down field

Yes. I empathize with that. Even people who have played college football are full of it. I spoke to a former LSU lineman (from the Hodson era) last year before the SEC championship. He said we were in trouble bc Miles has been running the team too much. And that our legs would not be fresh.

i met this girl in atlanta fri night before the peach bowl.. her bro was on the team supposedly and she was teling me that LM was gonna run LSU you in the ground, players hated him, he was moron, lost on the sidelines and not a good coach. stupid bitch.

Miles has earned my confidence the hard way...he's kicked the shite of of some once-feared programs...you fill in the blanks...I was a little hesitant at first when he was hired...but, guys, he has EARNED it the right way...by winning!

But the rantards know better than Miles -- they have 3 ranter crystal balls.

Face it ... LSU is not going to blow teams out this year. Like it or not, this team will be defined as a hard-nosed, ground-it-out team, with the potential for big plays if the opposing defense crowds the line of scrimmage too much. Those that expect offensive fireworks are going to walk away disappointed after most of the games. Just keep in mind the old saying "Defense wins Championships". I'd rather win an ugly defensive struggle than lose in a shoot-out.

You're probably right, but don't be surprised if the passing does pick up a bit...the timing should get better...I mean, that pass to Tolliver this past week was about as good as it could have been...well-defended, but Tolliver knows he blew that catch by not using his hands better...but that too will get better...we've got some good receivers...and the QBs are going to get better...all 3 of them.

What is up with all these "holier than thou" Tiger fans? It is like a bunch holy rollers pointing the finger at grambling or your local neighborhood bar. IF YOU DONT LIKE IT, dont go in it! Same for those of you try to "govern" this site...IF YOU DONT LIKE WHAT WE SAY, DONT READ IT and GET OVER IT!!! THIS JUST IN...YOU ARE NOT ADMINS on here. I have no seen ONE post by a ADMIN telling us to stop RANTING about bad QB play! It is called the TIGER RANT, not the Pretty Sunny and Happy Tiger Board! Get over it!
GEAUX TIGERS!!!
GEAUX TIGERS!!!

What does Grambling have to do with this? We were talking about LSU Tigers not Grabling Tigers. You might be on the wrong board?

Wouldn't surprise me a bit, but I think most games will be played relatively close. Might just be my way of preparing myself for some tense Saturday afternoons/nights.

Don't mind GatorTrunk. He has already shown his true colors enough.

What i meant by my comments was not that LSU is doomed and hell will freeze over and we lose a game to n texas or tulane but I was certainly expecting more progression. Even with the early struggles of JR or Flynn, they showed signs of handling the job well. I just dont think these guys have it right now and im skeptical as to if they will ever develop into a matt mauck type player

Beauty is always in the eyes of the beholder...most folks see the progress in the Qbs...at least those that are looking for it...we may have the best OC in America and he used last week like a scrimage if you were paying any attention...this guy is a proven winner on the college level and has developed quality QB play at every place he coached...including Chicago...go figure...
