Need to find a decent catcher

Garza killed this team this weekend. Missing bags, dropping an easy out that would have sealed the game, and allowing a bone headed pass ball that allowed another run.

Eh he didn’t have a great weekend but Garza improves dramatically mid season. I’ll give him another year to see how that improvement hopefully continues

Garza is part of the reason they got this far.... I mean he had a bad weekend but he is still young and will improve.

Garza can play.
His issues this weekend were focus and getting lazy on plays. Hard to fathom with the atmosphere and stakes, but it happened.

Garza had a miserable weekend but he's going to be much improved next year.

Not true... LSU made plenty of mistakes from Watson at second, to getting picked off at 3rd base... It was a complete team effort to play that bad

3rd baseman and lhp is a higher priority. Garza with coaching could be pretty good

As I said he had a bad series, he still isn't the sole reason they lost. LSU had other opportunities and did not capitalize. Vietmeier with a horrible inning ruined a 4-0 lead. LSU took itself out of scoring opportunities last night as well with poor base running.

Easiest plays are to catch a ball thrown directly to you and make a tag, touch a base, and put effort in gloving a ball that wasn't that far off. These things should not need to be coached in college.

Garza wasn't Watson or making the decision to pitch to Martinez. And from what I've seen, the alternative to Garza isnt SEC caliber.

Had a rough weekend but has been a good player on the team. Not judging him on two games.
