Their last 2 DCs were rewards were

An SEC DC position and a HC at fricking Vandy.

Have fun watching Clemson drop 50 on you every year.

Or at least being blown out in a New Years 6 bowl.

Brah, after our season, we have no room to talk. Besides, Notre Dame is 2-0 against us this decade.

With their schedule they go 11-1 at worst, likely 12-0. They are in the CFP for sure if 12-0, 11-1 they are in NY6. They do that, he is the top candidate for any big P5 job for 2022.

Ryan Theriot just said it best. Notre Dame is the safe bet for Freeman because there's no risk. He will have the same exposure that he would at LSU, without having to risk playing the same type schedule.

Notre Dame is like playing the senior tees. LSU is playing the tips.

They haven’t won anything relevant since 1988. They beat us in an 8-5 season and a year where miles was fired halfway through and O took over the reigns. We lost to Troy the same year we last played ND.

They have been to the CFP twice. Right now there are a few tiers of programs. Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State are tier 1, all won a CFP and all have at least 4 appearances.

LSU, Oregon, OU, UGA and Notre Dame are next tier. LSU has only been once but won the entire thing. UGA has been only once, Oregon once but Notre Dame has been there 2 times which after Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State and OU (also 4 times) is the most CFP appearances.

Notre Dame is a house of cards predicated off an antique history. frick them. They don't play anybody worth a shite, and when they do they get their teeth kicked in. The last two times that LSU played Notre Dame, LSU was a very average team.

For job stability do you pick the team that was in the playoffs a week ago or the team that has self imposed a bowl ban/reduced scholarships and fired the last DC after one season. Tough choice

They have been to the CFP more than any other team save Bama and Clemson, 6 times each and Ohio State and OU, each 4 times.

That is the fact. So if your Freeman you go there and you get to an NY6 bowl, very, very likely next year, and maybe CFP again, you are on your way to a P5 job in 2022 if you want it.

There is clear tier 1, Bama, Clemson and Ohio State.

There is a tier 2. Who is in that tier, well that is debatable, LSU, UGA, are both in it. OU is in it being in the playoffs 4 times. I would say Notre Dame is closer to tier 2 than LSU, OU and UGA are to tier 1.

ND has been to the CFP twice.
