Clark is still gonna make a lot of money off endorsements even if she leaves
This. WNBA salaries arent what the mens counterparts are but the elite get nice pay days from endorsements. Also i dont see Clark leaving for another school to accept more money, she is from Iowa and is worshiped there.

Clark is number one because she’s “The Great White Hope” for the league, a chance to have a decently good looking woman, who can actually make shots, be the face of the company.

Parker signed $100K annual salary earlier this year. She was former #1 pick and has been in WNBA for 15 years. WNBA salaries are very low less than $80K for the top 10 draft picks. Right now, the top 10 salaries range $211K to $242K for the top 10 biggest names after playing for years in WNBA. You have to be at the top, make it big like MVP, All-Star, etc, to get the big endorsements. The big endorsements are only for handful of the big names like Parker, Bird, etc. Everyone else gets pocket change endorsements.

You mean like NIL in college?

Like I said above, only a handful of big names get the big endorsements, but the majority of the players make minimal salary less than $80K and pocket change endorsements (if any endorsements at all). Some have to play overseas to supplement salary. So technically, Angel is right, her NIL's are higher than most of the regular WNBA players. And sadly, the NBA supplements WNBA.

Iowa averages about 11,000 in attendance, with the WNBA about 7,000. How much of that 11,000 is because of Clark.
If she dominates in the WNBA I can see her cashing in, but go put up average numbers her marketability takes a hit IMO

Again, you're mixing up the two. Angel is not making a "salary" from basketball. She's making money from endorsements. When she goes to the WNBA, those endorsements will not disappear in her first season. In fact, they'll probably carry into a couple of years into her pro career. After that, she will have to become one of the better known players to garner the same deals...................but by the same token, there's no option to stay in college for more than another year. So, she STILL makes more as a pro athlete than the $1.7 million she's making in college.

Angel will be earning a degree from LSU in May, 2024. She might be tired of college and want to go to work in her chosen field. Her biggest NIL deals will follow her to the WNBA. However, her limited shooting ability is going to limit her effectiveness in the WNBA, IMO.

I love that LSU women’s basketball is relevant again. Only because it’s LSU.
Let’s face it. Women’s sports suck. They are just not fun to watch. This is the reality.

please name 1 WNBA player, and her endorsement.
This is ridiculous. While they may not be as prominent as their male counterparts there are plenty of WNBA players with endorsements. Candace Parker, Skylar Diggins, Diana Taurasi, Breanna Stewart all have deals with Nike
