Official date for appeal hearing is set for August 9, according to Dellenger.

I spoke with the Fulton camp early on Tuesday and Aug. 9 is when the NCAA is slated to notify them of the end result.

The NCAA has a process they will go through in looking at the new evidence presented that centers on the handling of the urine sample and the NCAA’s interpretation of which rule Fulton violated that we touched on here.

The Fulton camp and sources on the LSU side are optimistic that Fulton will play in 2018.

I’ve said it several times and will reiterate it again; if Fulton regains his eligibility, which I expect at some point this season, he is an immediate starter.

He is that good and some feel he is even better than everybody’s preseason All-American Greedy Williams.
