Yeah this tournament has been crazy w all the upsets of national seeds, but that doesn’t mean LSU should lose to a school like LR.

I know many posters here don't understand this, and really don't like to hear it, but baseball is a game of streaks and series. We've seen "bad" SEC teams get hot and win titles (OM 2022) and we've seen 4 seeds get hot out of nowhere and win titles (Fresno State 2008). Stony Brook was a 4 seed in 2012, and we all remember how that went.

Little Rock has flipped a switch and is playing good baseball since their conference tourney. They swept that, were competitive Friday against LSU and beat the shite out of RI, DBU and then LSU to force a game 7.

No, LSU "shouldn't" lose to a program like them, but baseball is series sport for a reason. Anyone can get hot and upset anyone, at any time. Just ask Vandy and Texas about that. LSU was fricking around last night thinking they were walking into supers and didn't realize until it was too late that Little Rock is locked in and they aren't laying down.

Excellent point

Some people are just so miserable and panicked that they can't comprehend what you posted.
The regionals have been wild this year. Bunch of lower seeds making noise, a number of 4 seeds winning game 1 etc. You normally see a good bit of non-1 seeds lose regionals, but it's usually to the 2 seed and an occasional 3. I don't think I've ever seen so many 4's make runs. We still have a pair of them in game 7's today

There are often struggles by the top seeds in the tournament as the parity in college baseball is pretty prevalent.

I think why you are seeing LSU fans so upset is because LSU got pantsed, at home, by one of, if not the worst team in the entire tournament. Yes, Vanderbilt lost to a #4 seed. But that #4 seed was 38-19 entering the tournament. Ole Miss lost to a 4 seed...but that 4 seed was 38-13 entering the tournament.

All will be forgotten if LSU wins tonight. But not all 4 seeds are created equal. LSU lost to a REALLY bad one last night in a game where LSU's pitchers and hitters seemed totally outclassed.

Once the playoffs start, nobody cares what your record is. It's a matter of win or go home, and they've been winning.

I do laugh a bit at LSU fans riding their feelings so much. Before last night we had 2 great games, 2 shutouts with good run production. People making reservations for Omaha. Now they want to shoot the coach.

Yeah, that's LSU's problem. Being a National Seed really sucks. That's why we can't throw strikes and constantly leave RISP. Yeah, that's it.
Pumptards in a frenzy out there, down voting any post that's not all P&G pom pom waving.

Now, they're hot and heavy with all the "All these other teams lost and didn't advance to their SR, so it's fine if LSU loses and doesn't advance as well because That's Baseball" BS.

In any case, it will be a nuclear meltdown tonight from Pumps, Nega's and Real's regardless of the score.......
