Coleman goes 7 2/3, giving up 2 runs on 7 hits. Ott closes the door in the ninth.

Ranaudo goes 6 1/3 giving up 3 runs on 9 hits. Dean smashes a 3-run homer in the late inn. to put the game away. Ott shuts the door once again.

When LSU wins the first two games, which would be considered a "sweep", they become the College World Series winner and, thereby, the National Champions.

Who can pitch game 2? Ross looks terrible at the CWS. Ott did not have a goog day either. We will win in two with AR on Wednesday. However, if Coleman loses texas wins in two.

I think Texas will be fine we beat the best pitcher in in college ball this year twice. Leake was a monster!!
