Never heard of the guy but looked him up. Impressive. Looks like he knows how to develop guys.

My sons SO to Walk ratio was 7-1 under Ostrander.

Interesting that Johnson is getting shoutouts from Alan Jaeger. He’s a longtime SoCal pitching guru, with a specialty in long toss.
Hopefully that means Johnson is plugged into the young, innovative pitching culture that’s out there, enough to make a great hire:
