quote:Dude was talented and good, was built in the body like a football player. Played with his brother Lionel Green, the Greens on the dream team I called it with Ethan Martin, Ruuudy Mack, and DeWayne SCales. I know Lionel wasn't his brother and they weren't related I'm sure, I was just joking. But I was a small kid back then when Dale Brown had assembled all of that great talent and still couldn't win a damn NCAA title. SMH
Al Green, high leaping, scoring guard.
I mean that was basically a college basketball dream team he had, DeWayne Scales was one of the most unbelievable shooters I ever saw, his turnaround jump shot was killer. I remember he scorched Kentucky 1 year where they couldn't stop him, they had the forwards that was guarding him put their hands in his face to try to blind him and all, and he still made the shots. Lmao
I think Greg "Cookie Monster" Cook and the smooth Leonard Mitchell joined that team later on. Dale Brown had some talent come through the doors of LSU in his time there, dude should have had 2 to 3 titles in his time at LSU.
I also remember when Dale had talented 7 footer Tito Horford (Al Horford's Pops) only to have to dismiss him from the team for violations or some shite. Will Wade is like a young Dale Brown to me the way he keeps getting all of these talented guys to come to LSU.
