No link but he did say he will be back and given more NIL money. I hope Woodward had change of heart. Guy is horrible HC. John Jones was a better coach.

After how we played tonight he should be gone. We were playing for our lives and sucked air, again.

I know nothing inside, but how often do we see things change very quickly?

Since that came out, we beat the worst team in the league, then lost 6 straight games, each one more embarrassing than the last.

I'm just saying something that declared 4 weeks ago may not be the gospel now.

Agree and hope that is what happens. But if we are starting the process on March 13th, we are already behind (which will be another excuse for an underwhelming hire if made this year).

Does McMahon even come on any of the local radio shows? I remember Wade going on AFR and Jordy/TBob (maybe Ponamsky?) and the banter was always so great. There was substance.

It’s almost as if McMahon goes into hiding and is only seen at their games. Woodward will continually be hammered on social media if he keeps him another season. Don’t know if that matters to Woody, but the negativity towards LSU basketball right now with McMahon coaching will not go away until Woody gets rid of him.

A segment on AFR and a tweet but nothing more or official that I’ve seen. For the record I think you’re right, he’ll be back but I don’t know if Woody has said that.

I know there has been a commitment related to NIL money, I believe McMahon even mentioned that. Don't give me hope that I may be right about it being a smoke signal for potential head coaches.

More than likely he’ll be back but there is a pretty big difference in a “big release” or “announcement” and unofficially floating something in the media with no name attached to it.

The team has completely tanked and has been embarrassed with their doors blown off multiple times since then. There is evidence that he has lost the team and that they’ve quit that wasn’t necessarily there when they were stacking McMoral victories.

If Kelly doesn't pan out then he will be 2 for 4 on hires.

those will wade teams were some of the most fun I’ve ever had watching sports.

There were some high moments. There was also a lot of disappointing moments. I'm old enough to remember when we had teams that didn't throw away games/seasons. Say what you want about Dale B but he came close a few times. I guess I'm too old. Sure Wade would be better than McMahon but if not him then find a hungry young coach who knows how to coach without chaos and 25 turnovers a game.

Can we not count Kim Mulkey? I like her and she’s great. That’s being said, she’s from Louisiana and girls basketball hemorrhages money.
