I say, if you gonna do it, do it right. Make it match the upper decks.
I've already explained that you couldn't do that without moving part of South Stadium drive over and knocking a bunch of live oaks out.

Some people just don't get it. Would it be that hard to reroute South Stadium Drive? I know nothing about that. And a question...could you post a rendering of the expansion with just 2 or three rows in the new upper deck? Again..your renderings are professional and very impressive...Thanks...

Challenge accepted. You give me enough money and I can design around anything.

Very nice.
At some point, though, we're going to need a new stadium. When do we stop expanding and start saving for that?

who ever said about the nfpa and needing a sprinkler system is wrong. the state isnt even close to adopting the 2012 version.
coonass is right not the other guy. the new addition will require a fire alarm, extinguishers, hood system for any kitchen area, a standpipe for hose stations, and maybe a sprinkler system inside the suites depending on the design of the suites and the material used.
btw drawing looks awesome.

Can't touch the Oaks!!
Nice drawing though. Wish some TAF higher ups could move this up to Alleva

I really like Mississippi States video board, less ads than Tiger Stadiums.
No. They do their ads differently. They use more of a pulsing technique which I wish LSU would adapt. Basically, between plays they use the ENTIRE screen for ads. During play & replay they use the entire screen for football. It's a great idea. How no one at LSU has figured this out baffles me. As far as big $ boosters you can plaster their ads elswhere & give them airtime. The goal should be to avoid annoying fans.

My Tiger Stadium Expansion Design
"I didn't go with a full -blown horse shoe design because the demand is and will never be there for a 110,000 seat stadium,"
People have said this since Tiger Stadium helded 64,000 about expansion.
Tiger Stadium could hold 110,000-120,000 for Alabama, Florida, etc, esp. if it's a top 10 or better matchup.
Who cares if there's 90,000 for North Texas?
Doesn't ESPN Game Day, national CBS or ESPN broadcast, 150k on campus, and as much as 110,000 in the stands for a big big game make up for empty seats against North Texas or ULM ??????

Good job. This is one time that JA and TAF ought to listen to the fans. I like the design.

Alas.... the most memorable games were played when there were no upper decks.... and men smoked cigars and women wore hats...

You guys do know that the contract for the ads ends in 2014? That means that starting in '14, you get a giant assed video board that was supposed to be like this long ago
