You're right, and I've actually been there..and it's tin can seating.

I had that tin looking porchtop on one end of it, on my brain, threw my memory off a bit.

And I love wall-of-tvs in Vegas sportsbooks, mancaves, and in armoires/credenzas, just not in my Tigerstadium.

Which is exactly what my design does. I didn't go with a full -blown horse shoe design because the demand is and will never be there for a 110,000 seat stadium. But i think a ~104 to 105k seat stadium is more reasonable

That's what I want, 101 to 104ish. If they're bad seats and views, then let the suites subsidize their costs, make them cheap/affordable season tix for recent students that stay n BR after graduation..later working their way down into the lower bowl with job/career advancements.

If what someone else said about sprinkler systems or something is true, that could explain the 99.5

I don't unerstand why y'all think there isn't a demand for general seating tickets. There is a lot of people I know, including myself, who have been donating to TAF to get those kinds of tickets. I must be missing something here.

I think the only reason that they're adding a 1,500 seat upper deck above the suites and club level in the South End is to move visitor seating up there and free up bowl seats in the lower Southeast Corner for season tickets. LSU gives visitors too many seats in the bowl... this has been going on too many years. Plus TAF will get those 1,500 seats and get a TAF fee from season ticket holders for those seats, something that they don't get when they're occupied by visitors.

I think the renderings we all saw on tiger droppings of the ACTUAL proposed work is ^#$&#* awful. just god awful.

i hope it isnt too late for the powers that be at TAF to give it second thought. i would actually be EMBARRASSED of tiger stadium if that design comes to fruition.

Just about any plan for a facility construction put out by the LSUAD is that way. Don't know what the problem is there, but their designs are universally bad. It's like Alleva/TAF and company just don't have a clue on what to instruct the architects to design.

It is just a contract. They are getting rid of the ads soon. You'll have two gargantuan video boards in the SEZ and the one weve got now sans ads in the NEZ

The reason some things look stupid is because they don't get people connected to LSU.

I like it. I don't understand why the AD wants to keep capacity under 100,000. Why go to 99,000+? Add at least a couple of more rows to get over 100,000.

They probably needed it after how much the fans celebrated this season (not counting the last game of course)

People have said this since Tiger Stadium helded 64,000 about expansion.

I thought about giving this a whirl a couple weeks ago

Edit: you end up finding a firm in Baton Rouge or are you back around Nola?

I say, if you gonna do it, do it right. Make it match the upper decks.
