Interesting thought: I wonder what would happen if LSU lost to Arky, Bama somehow wins tiebreaker and went to SECCG....Bama wins SECCG

Who plays Bama in the BCSCG?

This is LSU's worst case scenario, IMO. I could see the voters putting Bama (SEC Champ) vs Oregon (Pac 12 Champ) in the BCSNCG, while leaving LSU, who beat both teams, out. The reason I believe this is possible is because so many people have this bullshite reasoning in their head that you should have to win your conference to play for a national title.

The tie-breaker will probably go down to the highest BCS ranked team.

it won't. so we don't have to worry about all that

Are Clemson and Va Tech even in the mix at all?

Would the winner of the ACC have a chance to climb to #2 considering the losses to the Big 12 teams have been to bad teams?

Can you imagine the outrage if somehow Oregon plays Bama in the BCSCG, while LSU is left out with the exact same number of losses as both teams?

The meltdown on here (myself included) will be off the charts.

I'd say it would never happen, but I know better. There are far too many people who throw around the "you have to win your conference to play for a national title" argument.

Most people are saying it's Bama/Oregon/OU....but I definitely think the 1-loss ACC champ should be in the conversation as well along with those 3 teams.

I thik it is Oregon all the way. LSU beats Arky and Oregon wins the Pac 12 championship game, Oregon has more wins. Arky was Bama's best win. We beat Arky and that erodes Bama's quality wins.

Oregon lost to LSU on a neutral field
Oregon will have more wins against better ranked opponents.
Bama didn't win or play for their conference championship.

How can Bama stay ahead of Oregon?

Oregon will have one win against a top 25 team & got stomped on a neutral field. Guess where the MNC is played. A neutral field.

Bama's best win would be 2-loss arky.

The ou/osu computer scores will likely be #2 & #3, plus the late season win should steal some poll votes.

Any mixed feelings from voters would punch the bedlam winner through.

AtlantaLSU - true dat. That is simply amazing. And if we defeat Arkansas, we may go into the NC having already beaten Bama (likely # 2 to 3), Oregon (likely # 2 to 4), Arkansas (likely # 6 to 8) and maybe even UGA (likely somewhere in top 10). Has a NC team ever accomplished such amazement in one season ??
