1. I still think the Big 12 Champ probably plays in the BCSNC

2. I am even more sure that LSU gets a mulligan and can lose one game, ANY game

I think so too. I've said I thought it was probably 75% we played the OU/OSU winner. I still think so if OU wins. You think OSU can overcome this loss with a win against OU and not having a 13th game, though?

I think tonight helped LSU's chances of getting to the BCS CG, but hurt our chances of winning it. OSU was easily the weakest possible opponent.

The Big 12 computer scores are sick. Winner of Bedlam has a HUGE lead over bama in the computers and wouldn't need much help from the voters. And even so, Big 12 champ is an easy pick when push comes to shove over the SECW second place team

Makes sense. I wonder if the voters might be more likely to give OSU this mulligan considering the circumstances surrouning this game. Not saying they should, but it could become a factor when splitting hairs.

And of the one loss teams should OSU beat ou, they would be undefeated in regulation and a conference champion. (thanks les)

That's what I thought, was almost hoping that OSU would pull it out cuz we woulda whipped them, at least if we win out it'll make the BCS look crappy once again.

Honestly it depends on how far OSU falls as to whether OU could get back in assuming AU and Oregon win out. If OSU falls behind Oklahoma then I don't think that game will be enough to get OU to jump in the polls especially with the Iowa State loss

Interesting thought: I wonder what would happen if LSU lost to Arky, Bama somehow wins tiebreaker and went to SECCG....Bama wins SECCG

Who plays Bama in the BCSCG?

Let's face it, if LSU and Bama win out, it's the rematch that many said was impossible. OSU wouldn't have beaten LSU, that's for sure.

Iffy conclusion. If LSU loses to Arky and Bama wins out, we wind up with a three tie.

The tie-breaker will probably go down to the highest BCS ranked team. With Bama nipping at our heels, there's no guarantee that Bama won't leapfrog us.

Should that happen, Bama goes to Atlanta and we're SOL.

Our best one-loss outcome is to lose to Ole Piss and beat Arky. Then we end up with a two-way tie and LSU advances because of the head-to-head tie-breaker with Bama.

But if that happens we should be be too embarrassed to even think we're good enough to play in the NGC.

That's not the tiebreaker
