My thoughts on Game day re:fans

Finally the last game of the season is upon us.At this moment there are 3 different types of Tiger Fans in existence, if you can call some if them fans.
1. People that can't wait for the game to start to see the team whup arse. Pretty sure the majority.
2. People that have the redass so bad about not getting a BCS bowl they aren't going to watch, or so they say. I bet some do. True fans??
3. People that have the redass about CLM so bad that they will watch the game and scream at every 3and out, perceived wrong play call, etc and are secretly hoping that we get beat so they can say, "See, I told you CLM needs to go...the team will forever be in decline, etc ad nauseum." If we don't win by 3 TDs they will scream. If we win by 1point, well you get the idea.

We planned a huge party last January for tonight. Didn't know then who was going to be playing tonight. Getting satellite dish and tv set up this afternoon. Tigers playing tonight is great lagniappe for the party. Too old to start drinking already but 7 pm it's on! Here's to a great night for all Tiger fans!

I'm definitely a "1" who will never understand the "2" mentality and who wishes the "3" types would put all their pathetic hate in a bag and just geaux the frick away.
Ken Kesey once wrote, "you're either on the bus...or you're off the bus." for the more obtuse, it means that you are either committed to the team/staff/LSU football...or you're not. if you're not all in...then you are just another half-assed wanna' be jerk whose dreams of glory are as hollow as the ego driven venom they spew. every game we should support the kids and coaches with all of our heart and all our soul. if we fans had the grit to match the level of dedication displayed by our team then the phrase "TigerNation" would be a reality....not an illusion.
