Top 2 RB's in the SEC and that Wholeo kid running around will be hard to stop. They will just try to keep others offenses off the field. Several of their opponents have a bye week prior to the game so maybe someone can smack em. The whammer jammers are the worst.

I have been thinking that the LSU/Bama game will be a 27-24 type score either way

But then again.......their schedule sucks...so who knows. HA
Actually Bama has one of their hardest schedules they can have. They get Florida, @ USCe and @ Tennessee form the east. UF and USCe ane likely the two best teams in the east and UT is a rivalry game. In addition, they play LSU and Arkansas on the road. Their out of conference schedule has one game against Penn St which is not expected to be a Big 10 contender but the game is played in week 2 and Bama's defense will still be finding their way. I could definitely see a 9-3 type of year for bama if they don't get every call to go their way during the season like last year. If they have another run through the conference schedule averaging like 1 penalty a game while their opponent averages 10, all bets are off.

The disgusting bile of an emotion that i have for everything that is BAMA never stops. And yes, the arrogance of the fanbase is really the biggest reason. I can't even pull for them in a bowl game. Of course that jack arse of a coach with no allegiances or morals can suck it.

At arkansas, florida, at south carolina and at lsu will be tough games...auburn will be no gimme at home, and at tenn and home against ole miss are losable...i do think they handle penn st...but would not surprise me if they go 9-3 or8-4.

Look at their schedule and tell me the 5 teams they will lose to.

9/11 PENN STATE

It's possible that they could lose this game. Penn St is no slouch.

quote:

9/25 at Arkansas

Again, a possibility. Mallet could light up their D.

quote:

10/2 FLORIDA

Revenge game. Regardless of whether they're in a rebuilding/reloading mode - Always dangerous.

quote:

11/6 at LSU

We have them at home and I think this is a 'W' for us.

quote:

11/26 AUBURN

Possible.

No, I don't have facts/figures to support my opinion because it's just that...my opinion. They will have some slip-ups this year and Saban has not put together 2 dominant seasons in a row.

**EDIT - btw...I can't stand Bama. Never have, never will.

Who's going to step up and become All-SEC performers on defense?

Pull for Bama you are out of your mind. I have hated them since the 70s when I started watching football as a wee lad. Bear Bryant was the dirtiest recruiter/drunk redneck in the nation. They feel like they are the SEC, I hate every thing about them, and Nick Saban is not the greatest fricking coach since Knute Pop Warner. frick. And I'm tired of going on the SEC rant and seeing all those fricking trolls there.

I hope NO one does......and lets watch Saban explode on the sidelines!

And then run off to Penn State so Bama can hate his arse too!

I dont like bama but my takes a liitle different. I just write off their fan base as a whole. The reason they are the way they are is because there really isn't anything else in Alabama for them to cheer about. Yeah Auburn but there is no other source of entertainment other than CFB.

I actually liked them when Bear was the coach and believed in the history and tradition. However when they went out and hired $abun away from his contract, they abondoned that tradition for the sole purpose of entertaining their fan base and exploiting it for money.

After all, college is still suppose to be amateur sport. Many could argue that CFB was headed that way anyway but bama recently insured that CFB is merely the minor leagues for the NFL. Its says little for their school as obviously the school has become just an excuse to have a football team.

In fact recently there was an article on Espn about whether or not $abun or Meyers would be the first 10 million dollar college coach. You can thank bama for that.

In this context I will remain more the NFL fan than college until CFB gets a playoff system giving the smaller schools with less paid coaches a chance to win it all. IMO bama's simply bought and paid for their championship/s under $abun.

BTW SEC fans are all just pawns in Jimmy Sexton's world.

Bottom line is that if they end up giving up tha same amount of PPG this year as last year he will have done it. However. I do think they lose a couple games this year.FLA and AU.

...and you HONESTLY think that with replacing 9 starters this year, they're going to do that?? NINE.

If Saban can walk on water and heal the blind than this should be easy.

If saban can replace anybody...then why has he only had 2 top 5 finishes in his twenty something years of coaching, while miles has had 3?
