Thanks all for your thoughts and prayers. Les even reached out after he found out that TJ had passed away to some of the family members on Facebook and I was fortunate to get a request from him. In it he said he was so moved by TJ that he wanted to get to know more about him through family and friends. He is a class act all the way as was TJ. Thanks again all.

Yeah Concordia Parish and Vidalia is slowly catching up with the whole electronic age.

What are the chances that 3 folks from Vidalia all hit the same post? In fact, I remember you quite well, as you were 3 classes ahead of me! Really sorry for your loss, but great to hear such a wonderful story!

I almost wish we had a sticky for posts like this.

I have said this after a previous thread brought out numerous Les stories.

JudgeBoyett, thanks for sharing your story. My condolences for your loss.

Thanks for sharing. A terrible situation, no doubt, but it is always nice to hear about Coach Miles dedication to family, his principles, and his integrity. Very sorry for your loss.

Great story, we hear these stories about coach Miles all the time from people he has gone out of his way to help. Thanks for sharing this with us. Sorry we lost a fellow Tiger fan in Alabama.

About 2 years back, 4 of us were in a thread and we all grew up on Miranda Drive.

As much as I appreciate what coach Miles did, it's overshadowed by such a sad story. With two boys of my own, I can't imagine...

Sorry for the loss of your nephew. That's just too sad for words. Great responses to your post. It sounds like Coach Miles has his priorities right. LSU football is in good hands for many years. May God bless you and your family.

This is why I don't want anyone else but Les Miles coaching our team.

Wow, great story in time of a terrible lose. I know your family will never forget that. Prayers to the family of a fallen Tiger.

I would think deep down the posters here who rag on Miles as LSU's coach reluctantly admit he's a helluva guy.

Sorry about your nephew.

I will admit to all of this

True love is helping when there is no benefit to the person providing aid. Him doing this for the sake of doing it and not recognition makes me proud to be part of LSU
