Just wanted to let you all know that 13.31 was the winning weight for $1800.00 also big bass was just over 4lbs for $700.00 the numbers were down because of the weather, first is usually around $4000 but was still a good turn out. Had folks from La., Miss., Ark., Tex., and I think one from Ala.

You will get pros and cons on all types but my best advice to you is don't rush your choice and do some deep research. I actually have stacks of manuals and brochures sitting right here that I've been looking at for at least a year. Gunite, fiberglass, and Freeform. The biggest choice will be $$$. I will be going with a Freeform when I do decide to pull the trigger. Saltwater pools have been around for about 30-40 years on the west coast but they are kinda the new thing elsewhere. You can also purchase a chemical generator. Good luck with your choice.
The Overseer at Glasscock is Bran Richardson his no. is 3183363758, Chris Strong is a guide at Giles and his no. is 3183367043. I know them both well and they can give you all the info you are looking for.

Couldn't get anything from Brett, not with a signature anyways. Said some people take it the wrong way, lol.
I've got a couple connections at Glasscock Ranch and Giles Island and one in Texas. Are you looking for a membership or a Scout hunt?

Brett Favre was at Giles last week, thought I'd throw that in there.
Look me up, I've got a list of people from Louisiana and a sports list. Some are pretty good folks. @good2geaux
He may have to take that deep drop and run around because of protection concerns. That could change behind a good o-line.

Just wanted to let everyone know the Tournament has been moved to February 12th due to the weather. Eddie said, though the roads should be ok the ramps are frozen solid and could cause problems. So if ya don't have anything lined up for that weekend here it is.

Thanks all for your thoughts and prayers. Les even reached out after he found out that TJ had passed away to some of the family members on Facebook and I was fortunate to get a request from him. In it he said he was so moved by TJ that he wanted to get to know more about him through family and friends. He is a class act all the way as was TJ. Thanks again all.

Yeah Concordia Parish and Vidalia is slowly catching up with the whole electronic age.
wonder how many of those kids met the 5 minute request to be back in class.....Great pickup for LSU!

My Les Miles Story

Posted by Geaux4it on 2/2/11 at 7:01 pm
I thought I would share my story (actually my nephews story)on coach Miles. In January of 2010 my nephew T J Fleming was diagnosed with cancer. He was a 20 year old who loved LSU football. TJ lived in a small town in South Alabama so you can imagine the ribbing he took from Auburn and Alabama fans. His Mom and Uncles were all huge Tide fans as well. TJ took it all in stride though. Anyway, once his cancer was getting to the point where we didnt know how much longer he would be with us his Mom wrote to LSU and Coach Miles to see if somehow they could maybe get a team photo or something for him to try and keep his spirits high. Well to everyones surprise he got a visit from Coach Miles, a signed photo and an invitation for him and his family to be on the sidelines for the LSU vs Alabama game. Unfortunately TJ didnt make it long enough to get to fulfill that dream but I know he was so touched by Coach's invite. We don't get to hear or see this side of a Coach much that's why I thought it was important to type this. I have always supported Coach Miles but after this it just solidified my support. If you like you can check out TJ's(TJ Fleming) facebook page that his Mom keeps up. That way you'll know the TJ we all knew. Thanks Coach for touching this families life and helping a kid realize a dream.
Final BCS ranking will tell the story on the past couple plus this years class and that's the only ranking that counts for me.
Great job by the staff!

After hearing those idiots on espnu talking him down I hope he comes out and smokes some arse. I didn't catch the guys name but he basically said your at a JUCO for a reason and Mett couldn't beat out Murray. Not the way I heard it but that's anti-LSU espn for ya.
I have a friend who put one out from his pier, the green one. The bait fish start swirling in it almost immediately. Then come the bream, after about an hour the bass a zeroed in on it and makes for a great night of fishing. I love watching the attacks on the shad. I usually have my best success just on the outer edge of the light.
October to March was always my favorite time to fish. Usually the only one on the water. Fishing super slow with a BIG ole jig. Starting in March you can hardly find a spot on the north end of Concordia. Everyone looking for that big ole sow.

The Ole Miss Rivals site writes that Philadelphia linebacker C.J. Johnson did not commit but also said he was unsure if he'd take next week's scheduled visit to LSU.
My take on it is by seeing all the different school reps on here means they must be tired of the BS that particular schools board is putting out and they come here to hear it straight.

Just read on Twitter where he has cancelled his visit. I didn't know he was coming.

Got hurt at work. Broke my back in 2 places and tore 3 ligaments in my knee. 20' scaffold collapsed and I happened to be standing in the wrong spot.
