I honestly think that unless we start seeing some real production out of our offense, this will be his last season with LSU.

I know that he has the ability to draw up some amazing plays, but if he can't train the offense to perform them properly, it's pointless.

I'm not saying that he should, or shouldn't be fired, and I speak with no emotion.

Did a good job in Saved by the Bell, Zack. Like your lawyer show on TNT (Raising the Bar) also!

I am sorry last night was just plain AWFUL and if he continues to call games like that it is time for him to move on.

With that offense he'll be lucky to make it through the year imo.

JJ needs to loosen up and not worry about throwing a pick as much. This will help GC and everyone else.

He was much more creative when he first arrived, then again, I guess he had a more experienced offense and stronger line.

But still, I gotta think he either delivers soon or he starts looking for different pastures (can't really say greener)

Hell we giving him a $50K increase in salary. It is in the works as well as a raise for the O Line coach. Not joking. Check into it.

Good points. I think he hasn't really updated his material and certainly doesn't seem to refit his offense for the talent available nor the weaknesses like the OL. He was never much on misdirection plays and those would help some issues like the OL. But those weren't in his original bag of tricks so he doesn't invent them now.

He has the ability I just don't know when it will show up. If the production fails, he will be gone after this year.

Crowton is not the one blocking....if you can't block it doesn't matter what the play is!

He is definatley on the hot seat. Les is pissed at him professionally for not developing the talent under his offensive staff and an offensive philosophy.

True, he's not blocking, but he is the coach. You know it's a weakness so you gotta design plays around that weakness.

Jefferson's gotta move faster and get the ball out faster. Need to do some cross blocking and get some over-pursuit.

That's Crowton's job. Not the O-line. They've got to execute what he comes up with.

No, he's just the one calling the plays that forces our 5-7 on the line to have to block their 7-9 in the box.

The offensive inconsistency is not Crowton's fault. He will be here next year.

Total offense ranking - 109 of 120. No excuse at LSU for being this bad. Unless this dramatically improves he's gone.

i sure as hell hope not. he is garbage. I have seen the same stale shite over and over. Beyond predictable. No need to even give the defense the playbook.

unimaginative, uninspiring, unoriginal. Just gross playcalling.

my question is, we have the personel to run alot of the plays we ran in 07 but refuse to do it. The option??? has he watched any game film of us trying to do it?

Not entirely true. When the OL is not a very good one, it definitely is the OC's responsibility to try to spackle over the problem the best he can...misdirection plays, etc. Crowton has done nothing to try to help the OL slow down the opposing rushers, whether on pass on run plays. That is PART of his job!
