As a current survivor (3*yr) of a ridiculously rare cancer , i like his chances. He is young , phenomenal shape , has to be absolutely one tough sob, he has as strong a support as one can have and the absolute best care in the world , all the things one needs to fight this. And! There is a chance that it may even be a benign tumor. Glass half full over here says he crushes this and makes a full recovery!!! And we will all keep him and his family in our prayers. God bless Gregg Brooks and his family,Amen.

My 24 year old son lost a roommate in college 2 years ago to a Glioblastoma. His sophomore year, they finished a intramural flag football game and were all together at Cane's and the kid had a seizure. 2 years later he was gone.

That group of young men that are friends were introduced to the absolute unfairness of life in a hurry. It was very tough on them.

Prayers for Greg, his family and his fellow teammates!

You NEVER forget the moment you were told you have any form of CANCER. It immediately puts things into perspective. I'm believing with him that all will be well with him after the removal. Prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are a lot of people who lose the lottery of life and suffer. A friend of mine just got back from a funeral for a 28 year old girl.

I have never suffered a major health setback, nor has my wife or children, or anyone close to me, excepting older folks whose time had come. How I could be so lucky, while others suffer multiple misfortunes, is hard to understand. And it must be especially hard on the misfortunate ones.

Hopefully Greg Brooks can battle back from this. I’m glad you were able to.
