I said they would play to limit big plays and keep the receivers in front of them.

That doesn't change the fact that it still takes a QB to make a receiver effective.

You think that simply keeping OBJ & Landry "in front" of them means your DB's can effectively contain them? Feel free to look on Youtube for game film of LSU this year; both of LSU's top 2 WR's are pretty nifty after they catch the ball too.

Brewhawk, he looks pretty good against the second to worst team in the SEC, the second to worst team that was confused and not sure how to defend against him. This is a top 10 team with Jennings playing, I mean come on he's got one mostly lucky drive under his belt.

Tell me what any of that has to do with with the quality of player Anthony Jennings is. Go ahead, let's see what you can muster up. Remember to think real hard this time.

I can't wait until the true story of this game is not Jennings performance, but rather Hill/Magee et. al. wearing the living frick out of y'all's defense.

I agree that if you can run effectively on us you've already won. I think we're going to take that away from you.

Glad you think so , I think you are delusional . I think you are just looking for a friend and that's why you continue to post nonsense . Go back to your Iowa board where you are a nobody.

You must have really sucked at baseball to have to go there to play.

Pick your poison.

You're not going to take away Hill/Magee without bringing those safeties up close to the line. Do that, and OBJ/Landry are gonna' get open.

Receivers like Landry and Beckham make mediocre QBs look great.

That's the thing. Stack the box. Fine. Plenty of teams tried that and eventually those two will bust one. Or two. Or three. These aren't your average everyday running backs. Hill is top five/ten in the country and Magee has been unstoppable at times this year. Then there's Hilliard we can pound at them.

Stacking the box just gives AJ more ability to find OBJ and Landry. Who can both get deep and beat man on man coverage which Iowa will have to be in to stack the box. Then you're relying on Iowa's DBs to cover those two, which no one has done yet, or to tackle them consistently after short catches.

Just saying it's not so easy to make LSU one dimensional like you guys are making it sound. With or without Mett.

We will keep seven in the box and be just fine.

Works the other way too pal, you have a QB that you all think has potential, he hasn't shown anything but one drive against the second to worst team in the SEC, whom was not prepared and not able to game plan for.

He may be a great QB in the making but he's not yet and has not proved it yet, and most likely will not have great game. By great game I mean 250+ passing, little to no sacks, and maybe some rush yards.

Your not the only one. We did however play and lose to Northwestern St. in the NCAA tournament back in 2006. I think they are from Louisiana, correct me if I'm wrong.
