looking for this one.

I was there in the north end zone. Most fantastic thing ever. wasn't that in 09, though?? next week we lost to Tennessee.

The 07 season was fantastic - unbelieveable = but the Cannon run was the best.

Mine, because it was the championship game, was LSU's first play from scrimmage against Oklahoma. I had this old bitch OU fan sitting next to me and she was talking smack before the game. That run by Vincent shut her arse up real quick.

I know, a few snaps later Mauck fumbled the ball.

Recently talked to a former player on that LSU team, I think Ivan Phillips was his name.

Well, if you talk to him again, tell him there are those of us out here that think of him and his teammates with great fondness. All heart that night.

LSU @ Alabama 2005.
Overtime victory on a pass from JR to Bowe.
Geaux Tigers!
Alabama was undefeated going into the game. I was in the Alabama student section (the endzone DB caught the game winning pass) and I saw the tears of the gumps falling...literally...dudes were crying and shite. i couldnt help but and and later that night

'79 USC. I was just a golfer from Maryland. That's the night my blood turned purple and will stay that way for the rest of my life.
'03 National Championship. Finally in my lifetime.

61-17 thrashing of Ole Miss on national TV with Daddy Manning running for his life and Ronnie Estay grabbing him and laying him down because he had a broken bone in his arm, Tommy Casanova running back punts,

Damn that was a good game

Tailgating before the 1992 ATM vs LSU game. I was a freshman and had never been in TS. The anticipation and the amount of fun we had that day was unforgettable. Waking up in Power dorm, aimlessly checking out the day's festivities, drinking a whale's portion of bourbon...good times.

Quite a few actually, but probably the best "in-person" moment was watching the Tigers beat the Buckeyes for the NC. Will never forget it.

Much earlier than that, going with my Pops to games starting in the mid 60's.

Notre Dame beatdown '71
USC heartbreaker '79
My daughters first game '86....to name a few more....

Was there, same endzone as you. I stood up with the touchdown pose as JR rolled out.

I went with a big ole boy who played LB at Bama, and I thought he was going to pretzel me. IDGAF for that moment though.

I was in a box at the Mississippi State game this year and on the 4th down stop I went batshit. Those two times are the only moments I ever feared for my safety at football games. Moments when you can't wipe the smile off of your face, but know you really, really should.

LSU vs Aub nov 01 for the west. Got the penality in the begining of the game for aub roughing up a band member. Got the opening onside kick and went on to win securing a trip to atl. After that game we all ran onto the field and lots were smoking cigars. I fell that was the moment that lsu finally turned the corner and it was the start of an elite progam

1970 vs Ole Miss. Archie Manning, who tormented LSU in 68 and 69, played with a cast on his arm. Tommy Casanova caught him 6 inches from the sideline and turned him upside down, knocking him out of the game. Archie was carried off on a stretcher to a thunderous chorus of "We want Archie" from the LSU crowd

'79 USC - The absolute most exciting energy ever in Tiger Stadium.

'82 Fla. State - oranges everywhere, and with the fog rolling in, an eerie feelin' down on the field.

Just my opinion, but the crowds in those two nationally broadcast events boosted the 'lore of "Sat. Night in Death Valley" into the fold with national media outlets.
