My Favorite Milam Moment

On a perfect day for baseball in Frisco, TX Feb, 2025. We were the visitors. Game tied 5-5 in the B9. K-State had a fast runner on 1st and Seth Dardar (when he played for K-State) doubles to the left center gap.
From the stands it looked like we had no chance to get the runner and that would be the ball game. But Monster Milam's relay throw to the plate was money. (And love the celebration of our guys when the runner was called out.)
ETA: when I checked today and saw where he was returning almost brought tears to my eyes. Amidst all the portal shuffling and NIL dealing, this is what's right about college sports.

there were a lot of Milam memorable plays, but seeing this one in person was really good. Dickinson shovels to Milam, Milam barehands ball and spins to throw runner out at first.

You almost cried because a player announced he was returning? Damn.
You know the only reason he’s returning is because we are paying him a bunch of NIL money right? If NIL didn’t exist, this never would have even been a question.
