also, remind your father in law that his daughter chose you, probably b/c she wanted a man in no way like her dad.

ask him what he did to deserve such disrespect.

I live in California and get strange looks from people when I wear LSU stuff. A few yrs ago at the grocery store the checkout girl asked me what LSU was (referring to my sweatshirt). When I told her she seemed unaware of our existence. Next she asked me if I was going to watch the Stanford Cal college football game that day claiming she was a big football fan. I believe we were a top 5 team and it was a big game day for us. I was pretty speechless.

Yes, I was at a store here in town a few days after the BCS and the clerk stated "I'm glad to see you are still wearing LSU's colors".

My response was "Of course I am!"

To be fair he is not really an LSU fan. Just put a bunch of money toward it with his 2 daughters.

I don't just wear purple & gold...I live it.

No matter the score of any game, I still love my Tigers. Admittedly I was a bit heart broken, but I never stop supporting.

Did you wear your colors immediately following the game?

I wore P+G nearly the entire week following the game. I don't normally do that, but that week my only remedy to compound the feeling of that loss was to cling to LSU even tighter.

A couple of times somebody would say something about the game, or about still wearing LSU stuff, I just smiled and said I'm still LSU all the way and we will be in the NC again next year.

No one gives or gave me crap, only people to say anything are my Aggie friends because they know I was at the game. They just said sucks the way the game went down etc.

I am still like sweet to not be an Ole Miss fan.

I were my LSU hat but its not in support of Miles dumb arse. I wear it because Im a diehard Tiger. I also feel this loss hurt us more than what people think. Sad.

I have been catching a little shite over my LSU scrub hat. When someone asks me why I'm still wearing it I just look at them like they're crazy and ask them why I wouldn't.

Had a funeral in Arkansas the weekend after the game and I heard a lot of shite. I let it go on for a while and then just looked at em and asked, "Do you really want to start a shite talking match with an LSU fan? Really?" I didn't hear anything else out of em.

I think they alternate with "SEC West third runner up" some years.

I stayed in NOLA until Wednesday.... wore my LSU gear on Tuesday... got some looks from Bama fans... but just said, "congratulations" if we spoke.

On Wednesday --- wore an LSU dress shirt home to Houston and straight to the office... particiapted in a large meeting presentation and got that "you're wearing LSU?" comment... and I proudly said, "yes, I'm wearing LSU... we lost, but I'm still proud of LSU". No further comments....

wow....I actually enjoyed reading a thread on this board. It's been awhile!

Nice to see some of you are still keeping the home fires burning!

I'm the same way...wow!!!! I don't think I've EVER said that on here!

I'm actually more proud to wear my school's colors after a loss than after any win we've ever had.
Strange how that works, huh?

I've always got LSU croakies on my black coastas and about 3/4s Of my wardrobe is is purple, gold or grey/white LSU stuff. It would be nearly impossible for me to not have on something LSU at any given time.

Pretty much the same for me up here. LSU stuff before the game and if we lose; fortunately there hasn't been too much of that lately.

I don't wear Saints stuff much all at all, except for a Hubigs Saints shirt with Savory Simon.
