Hope that is good karma. My Dad had his bypass surgery on the same day Warren Morris hit the walk-off homerun to win the CWS.
Speedy recovery to your Dad.

As exciting as the game is, nothing is more important than life. I pray for your Dad to have a speedy recovery.

There is no way you can actually believe that!

In 2004, we brought my mom home from the hospital for her last few weeks. It happened to be on the day after Thanksgiving, and, of course, LSU was playing Arkansas. As we were trying to set her up in the bedroom, there were lots of people bustling about, and she kept bitching at us to get out of the way of the TV so she could watch the game.
We all love our Tigers til our last breath.

My grandmother was in and out of consciousness before she passed away in 09. When she would wake up she would ask LSU baseball scores. We would tell her current events as well. We told her Michael Jackson died and she kept saying "he died before me?".

How is your dad doing today? Enjoy the game?

He is improving all the time. He didn't watch the game but was anxious to hear my report when I got back to his room last night. He wanted to talk all about the game. His spirits were definitely uplifted. Thanks for thinking of us!!!

Great news that he's getting better. Nothing heals like a Tiger victory especially over Bama.

How nice for him to hear such good news. That had to be a cool moment. We're all wishing for his recovery.
