Were they highly sought after?

Likely not by the biggest NIL programs due to them filling spots earlier and these kids entering at the end of the cycle

And considering the amount of time Tony spent with Holman's agent in Omaha, it's impossible to argue Tennessee didn't want him.

Selling opportunity is important also

Tony had more depth of arms. It was so competitive that they could afford to let Burns walk

Trying to equate or undermine what Tony had to build at Tennessee in relation to what Jay inherited at LSU is laughable.

SU just won it all in 2023 . and we are getting difference makers

Yep. We won because of Dylan et al mixed with elite players like Skenes and Tommy from the portal

I'm losing brain cells reading this dudes post.

There has been like 5 different important factors in recruiting according to him. And what's important moves all over the place depending on if LSU or Tennessee gets a certain player.

So is it opportunity or is it the money?

But also, their Friday night tandem starters were from the portal. Sooooo

And Tennessee still went after Dickinson.

The difference is they didn't need him so likely LSU came with more cash since we whiffed on Kilen earlier in the cycle

He’s a typical troll. Ignore facts. Hone in on arbitrary comments. Make false claims. Ignore posts pointing out false claims. Change subject. Contradict. Rinse. Repeat.

So we only outbid them because they didn't need him?

Your retort to us winning a battle against Tennessee

No I said Tennessee clearly could not promise the same opportunity to be featured like LSU was able to

Pretty clear Tennessee didn't need Holman

But you said we got outbid. If we got outbid, having anything to sell doesn't matter. Only the money matters.

With this logic, Bryce Underwood purely chose Michigan in the end because it was the home school and offered a better education.

No, you mentioned Chase Burns. Who Tennessee offered nearly half a mil and a guaranteed weekend rotation spot before he left.

And Tennessee went after Holman like they needed him. You're conjecturing that they let us get him.

It's not true. We won the recruiting battle.

You don't have the mental capacity to comment on logic.

Just back up one fricking thing you've ever said with any shred of evidence.

Holman and Jump were both huge portal gets. Jones is a stud we developed. Curiel is a stud from day 1. Dickinson is a huge portal get at a position of need. The OF is stacked with new and developed talent. We got a top 10 catcher through the portal and the number 1 HS catcher in the country.

But… Tennessee got a kid who never even visited us.
