You should do this. Not only because of the gesture since they love your gumbo, but because if they are worried sick in ICU, they are probably not eating much.

Same here. Colors, fight song, history of their brothers coming down. I've been there to visit a few times. Went with the HC alumni trip a few years ago...watched the game in the snow!

HC class of ‘96 here. Losing Jonathan this week sucks. The Serigne’s are good people. If you were in school anytime around Jack or Jonathan you knew the Serigne’s. Mr. Jack was always around campus cooking or just shooting the shite.
My thoughts are with you and your friend, OP. My group lost one ours a few years ago to cancer. That freaking dude was going through chemo and still made it to the Bama game in 2014 when Chavis’ defense made Blake Sims look like Drew Brees in the final minute and OT. Hopefully this LSU team gives a different outcome this weekend.

Sincere Prayers my man. It has been one of those bad news nights and saw your post. We are all strangers here to a certain extent that share the same hardships life throws at us. It is a stupid fricking football game, yet somehow a post like this bonds us together as kindred spirits (and Lousiana Sons) and makes it just a tiny bit “better”. Nothing but love tonight for you and your best dude.
