This mediocrity is acceptable attitude is what will keep an average coach around long enough to make your program just that…mediocre.

It is the quality of most of the posts here that is mediocre - AT BEST

1. People type crap that they would never say in public
2. People make comments that they never have to back up. People who make predicitons of doom and then cheer when the team wins are cowards because they take a stand for which they cannot loose.

I'm glad we are 4-0 and I hope we win every time we take the field, I've not heard 1 fan say they hope we lose to prove a point if so I would question if they are a true Tiger! I have heard fans question play calling, why we have no running game, why the offensive line has not improved in 4 games. I think we were out played and out coached but won the game because we have better athletes. I agree our team played hard but our coaches need to coach better and if the systems or techniques aren't working they owe it to those 18-22 year old young men to makwe a change for the better. The preseason games are over, step it up coaches. Geaux Tigers!!

it is desperately important that you get over yourselves! 4-0 is 4-0. And, 2-0 in the SEC is nothing less than terrific. Who among you thought for a second, with MSU on the 2 yard line with a First and Goal, that LSU would pull off a victory? But, they did. These are 18 to 22 year old boys who have played their hearts out for four straight weeks and have emerged victorious each of those four weeks! Yes, we've won two national titles in the past six years, a fact for which we can all say, "Hallelujah!" But, that really has nothing to do with the present. Like they say in golf, "It ain't how, but how many!" Bottom line is... this collective arrogance, among our fan base, which presumes that we should be winning every game by 40 points, demonstrates a perverted level of expectations that does nothing to inspire these magnificent young ball players in whom we've placed our hopes. What they've done successfully is position themselves beautifully for the rest of the season ahead, and it's time for all of our fans to quit all this pain-in-the-arse nitpicking and get behind their efforts 100%!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Please stop these ridiculous pollyanna posts!

No one has expected this team to beat EVERY team by 40 points.

No one has even expected this team to score 40 points in every game..

But this team hasn't scored 40 points in ONE GAME.

That's not on them.

This team has as much talent as any team in the conference and they're last in OFFENSE.

Please don't pretend its about the players feelings.

When Kevin Faulk and Herb Tyler -- players who played their hearts out for LSU went throguh their senior seasons under the demise of Dinardo, it was because no one recognized the signs quickly enough. No one did favors for those players by pretending.

The coaches on this team should be up all night trying to figure this thing out -- and the fans should be loud enough to keep them awake until they do.

Because the effort that the players spent on the field on Saturday will be wasted if they don't.

Good post -- I'm in, and we have a chance to develop into a good team --- I think some of the morons on this board think the coaching staff is satisfied with the performance. They and players are working their asses off to get better to win the giant games coming up.

Yep. And they also don't seem to get that the opponent practices, schemes, plans, as well.

they may have had 4 turnovers but was like a punt the other was on 4th down and a pass we should not have intercepeted any way

4-0...Let the season play out.

I hope all the negative posters on this board don't actually go to the games. I hate to think these are the fans the team will be counting on to get behind them and make Tiger Stadium a hostile environment for the likes of Florida and Auburn.

The seasons fly by so people need to learn how to enjoy when we're undefeated or go see a head doctor and get some prozac. Life too short to be miserable.

Life is too short not to care. That was LSU's issue in the early 90s.

if this really was the bad old days (Archer, Hallman, et al), MSU would have won yesterday. LSU is finding the way to win so far.
