If Corbin says no, it will be offered to TV. If he says no, Godwin

Auburn needs to lose to Geo and Bama; Ole Miss needs to lose to Auburn; Bama loses to us; State needs to lose to Ark, Bama and Ole Miss.
There's a very simple solution to this. The band should resume playing all songs, including Neck, Tiger Rag, etc. The stadium camaras are more than capable of zooming in on those who choose to change the lyrics, and can even display them on the video board. The offenders should be removed from the game by officials and possibly banned from future games. Once you begin removing offenders, it will stop. I love the student section. I love the energy that the band and the students can bring to the stadium. But there's a line. Show just a little class. After all, they are in school, maybe they can learn something through this.
It's Lee's fault. It's Crowton's fault. It's Jefferson's fault. No, it's Lee; it's Jefferson, it's Crowton. Wait, it's Mett's fault. No, no, no. It' Bush's fault.

I wonder who's more disappointed, the fans or Mett? He's expected to succeed with one hand tied behind his back. He usually has one, maybe two options and at least one is doubled.

Nothing will kill a player's confidence faster than when a coach shows no confidence in him. Passes that used to be incomplete due to drops are now often just over thrown.

Is there any place on the internet where you can find old radio broadcast clips of LSU games from like the 60's, 70's, 80's, etc?
1966 Spurrier threw for like 250 yards against us. May not sound like a lot today but in 1966 250 passing yards was almost unheard of. He even completed a pass to a receiver who was laying flat on his back, for a first down.
Thanks GRTiger. Hard to believe that was 40 years ago. A few years ago I was at my daughter's track meet in Lafayette and Bert Jones was sitting near me. I wanted to tell him about how I got his jersey sleeve after the Notre Dame game but figured he'd think I was an idiot for losing it. I plan to contact him now to see if he'll sign it before I put it in a shadow box. I still have a few witnesses who were with me and can verify what happened.
OK. I'm gonna email it to GRTiger. I can't do the image. He'll post it. I hope.
OK. Trying. Gonna have to get my daughter to help me with this. Saved photo on my laptop but can't figure out how to paste it to this message board. I know ---- I'm real slow when it comes to these things.
1971 LSU 28 Notre Dame 8. I'm 15 years old. As the game ends I rush onto the field with thousands of fans. I head straight for Bert Jones. He's being mobbed by Tiger fans. I grab onto his right jersey sleeve and unbelievably, it tears away and I'm now holding the greatest souvenir a 15 year old die hard, Tiger fan, Bert Jones fan, could ever dream of having -- Bert Jones' right jersey sleeve from the shoulder stripes to the arm stripes, with the purple 7 looking straight at me. I would cherish it for all times. Fast forward 17 years to 1988. Married with children; moving to another home; things are packed away in boxes and for some reason when things are unpacked the Bert Jones jersey is nowhere to be found. My wife thinks it may have mistakenly been thrown away. I'm crushed, but no-one to blame but myself. Then, yesterday my wife finds this box in a storage closet with birthday cards and lots of tissue and beneath the tissue, safely tucked away is my Bert Jones jersey sleeve. I was almost as excited as the night I got it. I have lots of great sports memorabilia, Cantrelle and Casanova's chin straps, Shaq autographed basketball, etc, etc., but this jersey sleeve means more than any. I couldn't believe she actually found it. I very seldom post on the rant but thought many of you old timers would appreciate this story. Go Tigers!
