Yes, he's a dumbass, but maybe you missed the fact that he was SUCCESSFUL in his senior year--the only year he was the full-time starter (and #1 overall pic, I might add).
And while you can say that 12-0 is "ridiculous", that's the case for any team any year. Last year our schedule was WAY HARDER, we had LESS TALENT at QB, and we went 13-0 before the BCS NC Game.
Florida? HA! Hope you're getting your rocks off by dissing LSU just because your Gators are down. Your run is over, or at least relocated to Columbus, Ohio.

3/4 of the teams you picked us to "slip up" against doesn't have a qb worth a shite either. Yet our defense is better than all 4, so again, I don't see us losing.

Not trying to start a flame war but if you remove Urban Meyers teams from the Florida history books....we still have a winning record vs. LSU....in not only the Swamp but also in Tiger Stadium.

I agree with everything other than the bcscg opponent (USC) and the secondary breakdown. Our depth is still amazing. Next year we'll be young, but behind Reid and loston are Eugene and Martin, both great talents. I think eugene takes lostons job by game 3-4.

Urban was 3-3 against LSU, so throwing him out of the equation really did nothing for your point. Throwing Spurrier out, however, really changes things up.
Y'all only lead the series 30-25-3, and the way things are going, LSU is going to make some ground on evening the series off in the next few years.

Agree. The other poster was making it seem like Urban Meyer made UF what it is.

It doesnt take an experienced qb to win games or championships. Our qb is better than floridas and auburns. It doesn't matter if he has gametime experience yet. Mett is better and it's not even debatable. Yalls qbs are garbage.

Talent does not always translate to wins in the SEC.
Look at Matt Stafford. Probably the most talented QB to play in the SEC since the Mannings. Never won an SEC East title. Staffords first year in the SEC he threw more INTs than TDs.
Russell at LSU. Never won anything.
Even Peyton Manning didn't win an SEC title until his senior year.

Once again, incorrect. He won the Sugar Bowl against Notre Dame. He was named the SEC player of the week 3 times that year. He also was the MVP of the Sugar Bowl. At the end of the season he was named to the all SEC first team, ahead of Woodson at UK and Chris Leak, I'm sure you know that name.
