Multiple media have mentioned how intense Leavitt is. Even during mid week meetings.

That doesn’t play well going in the road into an environment like that.
He needs to work on calming down.
He rushed. Missed multiple open receivers all night. Pulled and ran too quickly. OL play didn’t help but it’s not just on OL.

I agree. A lot of NFL guys would talk about the first time they get hit in a game it would start to bring them back down to earth. Maybe we need to do a few more designed runs early to bring him down. With that said He still looked keyed up in the 4th.

Lane needs to take him to hot yoga

He wants to play like Tebow, but the problem is he's way smaller.

His mechanics are terrible. His read progression is terrible. He seems like good kid and I admire his grit and heart running the ball, but it’s hard to beat good SEC defenses without a down the field passing attack. And we will see better defenses this year than Ole Miss. The TD pass to Watkins was an amazing throw, but can he do that consistently?

What are you seeing? Be specific

This is all fair.
But I’ve had to be reminded he didn’t practice all offseason.
That really does go a long way to understanding a lot of what we’re seeing.
The next 4-6 games should help him settle in, if not then November is going to be brutal and the Clark talk may become more serious and potentially necessary.
As “bad” as last night was, he made enough plays to give us a shot at the end on the road against a playoff team.
I’ll take that for now and trust in the coaches to get him over the hump

You can be wild and intense as you want but you have to be able to see wide open WRs and hit them
I’m a bills fan obsessed with Josh Allen
He is the OG White Thundercock. But he still stays calm in the pocket and hits wide open guys. Leavitt looked like his brain was on meth last night

I would just like him to at least a few times a game to think about throwing the ball instead of it basically being “Hut! RUN!!”

The game is too fast for him right now. A few more stars under his belt, and hopefully it all starts to slow down for him.
