yeah he COULD expose a lot I am sure, but does he ever want to coach again? because if so then he will keep his mouth shut and work his way back up the ladder

Would be nice if we could strongarm him to sleep in the bed he made

Anyone on the Chiefs, Steelers, or Saints staff that LSU could pick off as coordinators and position coaches?

Woodward needs to be very smart with contract negotiations
Which he has proven he absolutely sucks at doing

How has he proven that again?

Russ Calloway needs to be the only name to replace Ensminger. If Raymond is gone too, call up Chevis Jackson.

Don't mind me, just marking my place so I can keep up with this thread.

Well that’s one retarded arse sentence. Russ should be a candidate but in no way shape or form should he be the ONLY candidate. You’ve got to go talk to the Graham Harrel’s and the Phil Longo’s of the world not to mention another 20 guys that we haven’t even thought of.
Go hold an actual search and find the best guy so we don’t have to buy another coach out again in 12 months.

The talent and scheme can work here. The pandemic really prevented him from coaching and getting the team on the same page and buy in. I imagine he will be fired along with another defensive coordinator position.
Bo should be fired just b/c of the Moo St game. How you run man all game when it appears novices know that you rush 3 and drop everyone in a zone to defend the air raid. What they never practice zone before. They had all summer to run some practices with it. The qb was a heisman talk after that game and then was benched he was so bad the following games. Inexcusable

I think russ callaway is a decent coach but this idea that he is going to be the next oc is laughable
People shite on the offense and qbs
Who do you think is the qb coach?

I’m not even saying that he shouldn’t be the next OC. I’m just saying don’t be lazy about it. Interview relentlessly and find the guy who is best for the job. If that’s Russ then frick yea let’s roll.

I’ve thought our qb’s have looked pretty fricking good actually. Outside of the first half against State Brennan was on fire. And the two freshmen look about as good as you can expect two freshmen to look with no spring training and an offense installed over zoom. The problem has been not being able to scheme around a poor offensive line and zero creativity.
All that being said Steve probably has more hands on contact with the QBs than anyone.

I really hope we keep Brady’s passing portion of the playbook regardless of who the OC is. Or at least the best concepts from it. Run game needs a complete overhaul tho

You still haven’t received a response on this.
I’m curious as well.

If we got DQ, that would be home run IMO. He’s exactly the character guy we need too

I enjoy reading the responses to a Vol thread. You have folks salivating over his every word and those who are decidedly skeptical or disparaging.
