Having read the thread to this point no one has asked the REAL obvious question. Why didn't we hire Mulkey to coach the men's team?

Probably for the same reason no school hired Mulkey as a men's basketball coach.
First, the games are not even remotely close to being the same.
Second, maybe she would have zero interest in coaching men's basketball.

Well, what the OP says is true only because Mulkey has been at it longer….otherwise Wade could wind up being better….so it will take a long time for the final tally…..LSU is fortunate to have both.

That's comical. Wade may end up being very good, but there is no way you can know that at this point because there isn't really anything that indicates will be a can't miss multiple National Championship winning coach. Pretty dumb take.

He has 2 NCAA Tourney wins to his credit at LSU. He has a chance to improve on that this year, and needs to. The credit he gets so far hasn't been completely earned...imo.
