For those of you who don't check out the SECr it looks like MSU also uses Aramark and are collaborating to LOWER prices for this upcoming season. So who at LSU needs to go tell Aramark we want to do the same thing now there's a precedent or who do we have to complain to at LSU to make sure they get the message.

Can you imagine the quality of the food with lower prices?

As it was, they should already be paying people to eat that crap.

Where are they going to make up the lost wages? Quality of food? Lower quality workers?

Atlanta Falcon decrease concession prices yet make more money.

It's almost like if you invest in increasing the fan experience that the fan will be willing to spend a bit more. Who would of thunk!

I think a lot of people also don't buy stadium food on the principle that they know they're being gouged and won't stand for it. So if teams just cut the bull shite and served food at regular prices people would obviously flock to it. As seen by the Falcons.

Eat and drink all day at your tailgate so you don't have to buy horrible concession food.

1. Of course I do that already
2. Not everyone can do that
3. We shouldn't have to do that, we already pay an exorbitant amount and deal with A LOT to go to just a single LSU football game. Having decent priced, quality food in a timely manner should not be an issue.

When CBS games are 4 hours long at it's fricking 100 degrees in the sun. I'm drinking as much water as possible.

Now that man-purses are socially acceptable, thanks Derrius btw, I can stuff a couple of subs in that, with my liquor
still securely in my ankle 'holsters'.

Auburn game a few years ago the water got hot so fast that it actually made us sicker drinking it.

So we also have a deal with Aramark? One that has been scrutinized since the ink was dry and even further when people experienced it first hand. If MSU can get them to drop prices then that means so can we.

I can’t imagine the nachos being any worse than they currently are. That seems impossible.

That's fine. Don't aim to be better.

Let just start by not running out of cold fricking water by the 2nd quarter of a 2:30 game when it's 90°+.

"As we work with Athletics and our MSU dining partner Aramark to create a more fan and family-friendly game day experience for our Bulldog family, I believe this new comprehensive plan for concessions is a key element to increasing value for our fans," said MSU President Mark E. Keenum. "High quality refreshments, more sensible pricing, faster service and new policies that address items of input from our fan base are a winning combination for a better game day experience. I congratulate Athletics and Aramark on their innovation and collaboration on this plan."

Its eventually gonna happen. The power is now shifting to the consumers in sporting events. It used to be they charged you what they wanted because they knew you were gonna come anyway. Now its shifting to they have to lower prices to make it more attractive for you to come.

This assumes the people in charge are smart enough to put this together. What makes you think the people in charge of LSU are capable of coming to this conclusion and also realizing it will actually benefit them to do so?
