Then you would know that 2009 was as complete of a team that LSU has ever had. Great starting pitching, great relief pitching, great hitters all throughtout the lineup, great power, and the defense was superb (after the midseason lineup switch).

Only thing so far is plate discipline, infield defense, and Friday night pitching.

I love the debate on all time LSU teams. We have seen so many fantastic squads.

Of course the "one game winner take all" team will always be the 2023 team. No one is beating Paul Skenes.

Baseball followers know this- besides a much higher OB%, the great plate discipline pushes much earlier bullpen call. Like tonight the Tex pitcher was pushing 90 in the 5th. 90 is usually in ~7th
