The 3 LSU WRs in that game combined for 23 receptions, 323 yards, and 3 TDs. None of them have been in the league even 5 years. That's insane!

Was pretty cool to both of them on display along with the Madden Football commercials that featured Peterson and Odell. Brad Wing punting the ball as well

Now I'll wait for someone to come along and tell us something about points per play or some bullshite that no one ever uses except when defending LSUs offense.

I have seen plenty of this. And it seems its to posters who say we did not utilize our talent to the extent we should have....having watched them tear up the NFL for 2 years IDK how anyone can argue that we utilized them properly. What would they have done in a good offensive scheme...have to think they would have been Heisman hopefuls and at the least All Americans.

I've been one to criticize the 2013 offense as being good but not as good as it should've been. Mostly Bc it utterly failed against Bama and stat-wise, it was in the middle of the SEC pack. That's in yards and points, the common yardsticks.

My big thing is, 2013 was so talented on offense that if Les couldn't score on Bama with that group, then Les just won't ever score on Bama again. It's not realistic to expect to beat Bama 13-10. Points have to be scored. Otherwise, LSU will not win the West. This Cam/Les offense, even with NFL talent everywhere, is still not good enough.

and the best Les could do with these two, Mett and Hill was 8-4

Odell Beckham won the Paul Hornung Award that year and was a 1st team All-American, but I'd hate to crush the narrative.

Our defense held McCarron to 179 yards on 14 completions. They rushed for 193 on 4.6 a pop. Hardly a devastating stat line on the road against #1 when you lost TOP due to the offense's ineptness.

They also gave up a touchdown on EVERY. SINGLE. DRIVE. of the second half.
