So Alabama lost 12 players that got drafted and I think they had 3 more eligible for the draft including 2 corners with significant playing time

If we can't beat them this year it isn't going to happen anytime soon

BTW the entire starting defense from their 2016 season has now been drafted. All 11 drafted. Insane.

Before it was Miles fault there weren't enough or top draft picks this year, now its due to O continuing the legacy?

Which is it?

It's whichever fits the narrative. I kept hearing that these guys weren't recruited by O, so it's not his fault there were no first rounders.

Even though he was the recruiting coordinator on staff lol

Why would you be interested in this? Yesterday I posted that if LSU had any players taken in the first round of the draft that you would be on here posting about it and you replied back.

nah, I don't really care about the draft or pro football.

So now, here you are, posting about the draft and pro football.

Is this another one of those flip-flop scenarios that you've become known for?

IMO, there are any number of factors when it comes to when a player gets drafted. It's tough to know where credit or blame is deserved since Miles has been gone nearly 2 years and O only has 1 year as full time head coach.

you mustve missed the late 90's early 2000's

from 2000-2003( 4 drafts) we didnt have a single 1st rounder and in that time we only had 2 2nd rounders.

we had 7 picks that were 6th round or worse

So basically this thread is saying the LSU did have talent this year?

Was told Les left the team empty with nothing to work with

In all seriousness this roster wasn't perfect by any means but we definitely should have finished with more than 9 wins. Talent was not an issue

I believe there was a good bit of talent on this team. But, what the hell do I know?

Eaux wasn't the recruiting coordinator until the 2016 class.

The 2016 class is not eligible for the draft.

Eaux was a D-line coach when this years early entrees signed with LSU.

In Tiger Stadium too. You’re right, it’s now “O” never.

But sadly, we are beyond thinking about beating Alabama.

We’re now worried about 4-7 Florida, Mississippi State in Tiger Stadium, and hoping and praying the Ags don’t beat us for the first time since joining the conference after firing their coach and hiring a guy DeREEk and his staff claim sucks without Jameis Winston

Oh and La Tech

from 1991 to 1997 we had 15 players picked

1991-3 picks
1992-2 picks
1993- 0
1994- 2 picks
1995- 2 picks
1996-3 picks
1997-3 picks

i figured ,with you being a documented sycophant, that you wouldn't know much about past lsu football.
