i don't think berlin was ever sacked in high school, evangel went out of something like a 7 or 8 yard shotgun, it was insane.

yeah, and recruiting from TX and Arky didnt hurt either. But him being in shotgun all the time he wasn't used to being under center and he faultered, just like the highly touted recruit that followed him Brent Rawls who went to OU.

If you hate La players that leave, you are a hypocrite if you like LSU signing players from out of state. Players like JaMarcus Russell, Matt Flynn, Dewayne Bowe, Russell Sheppard etc.
I try not to hate 17-18 y/olds that may want to experience life outside of their home state.

All things considered, hating on Warrick Dunn for gooing to Florida State is pretty classless. Curley wanted to make him a defensive back for heavens sake! The kid did the right thing for him at the time. Can't blame him for that. And keep in mind his program, helping poor families get into decent homes...he does that in Baton Rouge as well as Tampa and Atlanta.
