The worst loss in Va Tech's history and I let these northerners know it all the time.

VT was an amazing win. I'd put that arse kicking of Arizona in 06 up there as well. Probably the biggest physical beat down of another team I've ever seen. The defense was simply teeing off on every single play on the AZ qb and skilled players. It was like they were playing high schoolers. All after herbstreet predicted a last minute type game.

VT. They ended up 10-2 and until the SEC championship game and ensuing last voting, VT was one spot higher than LSU in polling.

I agree that VT game was prob the best beat down I've never seen

And if that team had stayed healthy all season they'd have destroyed a few more teams in that manner. Amazing how beat up they got and still managed to win it all. Really made tOSU look like Vandy or KY, no disrespect intended.

I think both games make the case for scheduling strong OOC and playing that game early.

It forces you to prepare with focus in the off-season whereas these cupcakes so many think we should fill the OOC schedule with just don't.

We don't play in the MNC in 2007 without that very impressive Va. Tech game. That put us way up early and kept us there despite a couple of unexpected losses....enough so that when the dominoes fell inexplicably we were still rated high enough to cash in.

I now this team was garbage back in '11, but what LSU did to Ole Miss was one of the most demoralizing things a football team can do to another team. That was glorious

Oregon. They were ranked #2 I believe and a fave to play for the NC.
