As Jay said he is the BEST College Baseball Player this year. What he is doing is incredible. Just enjoying what we are watching.

The BB to K comparison is telling and indicative of the true professional hitter he has become. I use to hear my son's TB and Legion HC harp on those basic stats - you want to walk more than you K. Strive for it as it is NOT easy. 'Sit back and eat a lunch, and pick the one you want'. 'Hard hit balls cause good things to happen' were some of his memorable quotes.
Through 24 games (with 32 reg season games remaining) DC has 26 BBs (also 4 HBP) with only 12Ks. Last season he had 42 BBs (with 13 HBPs) & 56Ks. MOST MLB players don't come close to those types of balanced numbers, then of course add his HR power, RBI ability, and DEF coverage in CF and yes you get that 'Mike Trout' type player.
I have been watching LSU BB since the early 90's and don't remember watching a player like Crews. He is the guy you hit pause on the DVR/computer or just wait before you go grab another beer, b/c you just don't want to miss his AB. Keep Charging DC!
