LSU comes first but I'm a fan of most Louisiana teams and pull for them when they play.

"Tech is miles ahead of ulm in almost everything" Most pharmacist in this state would disagree with you. "uggrade of Tech from WAC to USA" Conf USA is not the same without the recent defectors. Really no significant difference but Techs only other option was the belt the same conf ULM is a member. Again, no significant difference. Finally, you have more LSU merchandise available in Ruston than Tech and if you visit Techs campus you would think there students attend LSU. ULMs baseball team has been better than Tech for the past few years maybe not in football or basketball but hard to judge when Tech refuses to play. The Louisiana legislature should mandate this game as it would likely bring more revunue to both schools who are wards of the State when it comes to their athletic dept's.

I went to LSU for undergrad and ULL for grad school. ULL is stacked up with people from a 25 mile radius. Much civic pride from many small-town folks. it gets pretty tiresome. That said, I enjoyed my time there.

Conf USA is a better conf than Sunbelt but not the Conf it was before the defection of better teams. If we were being honest neither conference is very good. My point is that LTU has attempted to distance themselves years ago by not playing its natural rival ULM and if you look at there recruits in the big sports excluding WB and waterskiing which really is a toss up as to which I would like to watch, neither has made much progress. As to ULM not being considered for USA, I never heard that they were unhappy in sunbelt which apparently was not interested in LTU. At any rate , my point was the State schools are still the State schools and not getting better as relates to LSU.

Louisiana Tech has been listed on multiple sites as a potential BCS buster. Thats making progress in my books. Hell, in Phil Steele's blog today he had Tech as one of his last 20 potential NATIONAL CHAMPION teams. Once again we are making progress.

Tech had a spot in the sun belt waiting on them. If you think differently you are only fooling youself. Sun Belt was essentially the ugly girl we would reluctantly take to prom if CUSA turned us down

Yeah, I remember that time Richard Murphy was on the Doak Walker Award watch list too.

Quit degrading my people cause there are some good people there and fine women. Now I gotta go have some drinks on Sukhumvit 22 in Bangkok-Talk about many girls
