Baseball is days away and the basketball team just broke a teams 26 game SEC losing streak. Basketball is clearly the #3 sport here

Its the culture. Idk why, but I’m all for supporting LSU Athletics top to bottom, but I can honestly say I’d rather watch paint dry than regular season college baseball. Why people can’t support the second most popular sport in America and one that actually has action more than every 15 minutes is beyond me.

Pretty simple. In baseball we won several titles in a decade which ushered in a decade of kids watching a dynasty. That stuck with us. We grew up with championships. People support winners. And during this time basketball, was inconsistent

It’s because baseball looking like a carbon copy of the football team. We underrated but in reality we have our best pitching staff ever. Add the fact that we have a lot of power in the lineup and a freshman phenom and you know the rest.
