He’s terrible, and he really hasn’t done much all season outside of like the first 2 weeks of the year.

2 weeks against the weakest competition. He’s been Thompson level bad in SEC play.

As an outsider looking in I always think “LSU is in trouble” when we I see that Money is starting. I don’t ever remember him being good.

Well I wasn’t pumping Money in my post. Exactly he had a couple decent weeks at the start of the year. He pitched good against OU though.

Would not surprise me a bit if he undergoes shoulder surgery this offseason. Velocity has been down and hadn’t been the same

That’s because he never was. Left off the postseason roster last year. Coach’s decision.

My cousin in 1985 started vs Miss St. National TV ESPN and was knocked out in the first inning. He pitched for the Yankees and Detroit. Money is just not executing. He has the stuff just not in control of the stuff he has.

You do realize he was lights out prior to injuring his wrist. Maybe he is playing through an injury, or that wrist injury was more impactful that we realize?

Yeah, the degree to which people are shitting on him is getting excessive.

He pitched good enough to keep us in the game against Arkansas and people were still shitting on him. I think he’s mentally fractured right now.

And to the people saying he’s never been good, frick off.

He’s not a SEC starter, that’s all most people are saying.

If he was a middle reliever and pitched this way people wouldn’t get nearly so worked up. I know it’s not his fault. I think most people are voicing their frustration with the staff for putting him out there as a starter.

There are at least two people in this thread that said he’s never been good.

We’ll have to agree to disagree. Money’s fastball is average for today’s college game. His breaker has some bite, but he rarely throws it for a strike so hitters just look for it in plus counts and let it pass by for a ball.

That guy is inside his own head. JJ needs to put him on mid week games and LATE bullpen action.

I’m definitely saying he doesn’t have the stuff. It’s not he isn’t executing, he’s just not that good. He’s a mediocre college pitcher.

If a couple flashes of potentially being good enough to start is your definition of good, then ok.
But by that logic, we’ve got future HOFers at every position
