I’m not going to argue that Bianco has been given more chances than anyone on this team just like with Hal Hughes. I think we should institute a rule that CPM is no longer allowed to recruit coach’s sons.

I would have like to see what he could do if he just focused on one. I’m all for playing as many sports as you grow up but once you get to the college level, especially at the level LSU plays in, I think it’s time to pick one and focus on it.

I honestly don't think we saw enough to know how good he could be or not be at baseball.

He's already off the website roster. Damn that was quick. I don't think Bianco was taken off last year when he went in the portal. Must be some real hard feelings.

I don’t really care that he’s transferring, but when Pawl trots out Bianco game after game and doesn’t give Hampton more AB’s, it’s hard to say Pawl gave him a fair shot.

Joe did his time, graduated from Ohio State, and didn’t quit on his team in the middle of the season. Can’t stand when people make that comparison

It’s not hard to believe that CPM watched him in practice and determined he wasn’t the best option to be out there.

More likely was Bianco didn’t withdraw from school while he was in the transfer portal for less than a month last April and Hampton has quit school.
So he can’t remain active on sports rosters if he’s no longer enrolled at LSU.

Jacoby was never an All-American but he was one hell of a leader who busted his arse on the field and gave everything he had to LSU for 4 years. I'll take that over raw, undeveloped talent any day
