And yea, I dunno why but you have to nominate yourself (I guess so sorority mothers don't have to worry about finding someone else to nominate their daughters.) Then you go in front of a committee or something and they pick top 17 - then it's voted on on by students in Paws (at least it was that way a few years ago when I was in school.)

One small problem with all this...if the soccer team makes the NCAA tournament, they would likely be out of town the weekend of homecoming and she wouldn't be at the football game to be crowned...

This is true. There's a ton of stuff you have to do. I thought it'd be funny senior year to get me or one of my buddies to run for it but there's a screening process, an interview process, an essay, more interviews and a bunch of other stuff.
